Elephants after the rains (dyed green)
In my photographs of elephants the colour changes, starting
with the coldest colours (just below) then the
warmest colours
( 1/4 of hour before the sunset and just after sunrise )
which are all at the end of this page.

Elephant is the largest mammal of the earth.
Despite being hunted for its tusks, the elephant has
not become extinct.
Now that it is protected in many countries, the elephant population has
increased so much that some governments now allow restricted hunting
in order to control the growing population.
As a wildlife photographer I do not fully agree with
this policy, however with
my intimate knowledge of the situation I know that there are few solutions
to this difficult problem. Although it would be the ideal slution to move
them
to other countries, it is not easy to translocate elephants.
Elephants in summer (golden gold)

To preserve nature let us touch such places as little as possible !
(personal idea)

Early the morning or evening (warm hot)
This shows the damage which elephants can do in only
a few minutes!
If there is a herd of them they can reduce an acacia (which is also the food
of the giraffe) of 1-2 metres in height to a bare trunk. The 5cm long spines
do not affect the elephants and they crush and swallow them!
Very early in the morning or late in the evening (very warm colouring).
Last light of the evening (very warm)
Here are the colours of the evening and morning at
theri most beautiful.
We have not discussed the ways that the colour affects the images but
I would be interested to hear your opinions about this. !
